Cohiba 35 Aniversario special band. Humidor No.239/500. Cohiba is one of the most prestigious Cuban cigar brands in the world. Established in 1966, Cohiba was initially created as a private brand for Fidel Castro and other top officials of the Cuban government, and the cigars were not available to the general public until 1982. The leaves of Cohiba cigars undergo a unique three stage fermentation process exclusive to Cohiba. The Cohiba name is derived from the Taino word for tobacco.
