Another superb bottling from Glen Gyle Distillery, the sister operation to Springbank. This Kilkerran has been predominantly matured in ex-Bourbon barrels (96%) with another 4% being aged in ex-Madeira casks. The result is a whisky that reflects the true character of the distillery with the spirit character really shining through. There are flavours of citrus, vanilla, brine, pineapple and gentle smoke combined with some earthy, dunnage floor notes.
