Excellent appearance and bouquet. From a well looked after collection. To craft this cigar the finest tobacco leaves harvested in 2005 were meticulously chosen and carefully aged for 5 years before these cigars were rolled. The Gran Reserva concept means the best of what has ever made. Montecristo stands as a pillar of the Cuban cigar industry. It was founded in 1935 by Alonso Menendez in Havana. The name comes from the famous novel The Count of Montecristo which was a firm favourite when read to the Torcedores (cigar makers) at the factory where it was founded.
