Good condition and bouquet. Collection Series of 2000. This cigar is the largest parejo size ever officially produced and it is believed to
have been created in the 1920s. Founded by Spanish emigrant Don Jose Gener, the Hoyo de Monterrey brand was the second line of cigars produced by Don Jose following his initial venture with a brand named La Escepcion. The Hoyo de Monterrey brand was created to celebrate Don Jose's acquisition of his own plantation in the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region called The Hoyo de Monterrey plantation.
