Ex. Rodriguez, Arguelles y Cia. 16 cigars in sealed glass tubes. 2 cigars in open glass tubes. Very good condition and bouquet. 2 cigars with minor wrapper damage. The brand Romeo y Julieta was first launched by Inocencio Alvarez Rodriguez and Jose Manin Garcia and it was named after the characters of the famous Shakespeare play. In 1903, the Factory was bought by Jose Rodriguez Fernandez, popularly known as Don Pepin of the firm Rodriguez, Arguelles y Cia, which he founded a short time earlier with friends. It is estimated that at least 1000 different Romeo y Julieta figurado vitolas were produced before the Cuban Revolution.
