A hugely sought-after bottle, Ardbeg Very Young was the first general release of spirit produced at the distillery after Glenmorangie took the distillery over back in 1997.
The first in Ardbeg's "Young" series on their "path to peaty maturity", tracing Ardbeg's path to their new 10 year old.
The Very Young was later followed up with “Still Young” 2006, “Almost There” 2007, and Renaissance 2008 a ten year old Ardbeg.
The spirit for Very Young was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2004 at cask strength.
